This two part presentation will outline my experiences in using an entirely software based keyboard rig for live use. At present the system, regrettably, uses entirely non-Free software. A recent conversation with some fellow community members prompted me to re-asses my software choices for same. Alas for my particular uses it appears the Libre alternatives either fall short or don't exist. The second part of the talk will then seek to brainstorm how this might be changed :)
