Description:	Forschungsaktivitäten in vielen Disziplinen werden durch unterschiedliche politische Instrumente gefördert. Die Erfassung und Darstellung von betriebswirtschaftlichen Kennzahlen zu Forschungsaktivitäten ist bereits etablierte Praxis; darauf aufbauende Informationssysteme bieten jedoch oft nur unzureichende Auskunft über inhaltliche Zusammenhänge und Entwicklungen. Am Beispiel des Forschungsthemas Energietechnik wird im EnArgus-Projekt untersucht, wie sich die Transparenz staatlicher Förderpolitik durch Aufbereitung vorhandener Projektdatenbanken und inhaltliche Erschließung mit Unterstützung einer Fachontologie verbessern lässt und die Ergebnisse auch der interessierten Öffentlichkeit zugänglich gemacht werden können. Der Vortrag gibt eine Einführung in das Thema ontologiebasierte Suche und stellt das Forschungsprojekt EnArgus (www.enargus.de) vor. Das Ziel von EnArgus ist die Konzeption, Entwicklung und Erprobung eines zentralen Informationssystems für Energieforschungsvorhaben aus dem Bereich der Förderung durch Bund und Länder. Das EnArgus-System soll Politik und Gesellschaft einen Zugang zu Informationen über die Energieforschung ermöglichen und so die Transparenz staatlicher Förderpolitik verbessern. Der Einsatz von Python spielt bei der Systementwicklung in EnArgus eine bedeutende Rolle. EnArgus ist ein gemeinsames Vorhaben aus Energieforschung und Informatik. Zur inhaltlichen Erschließung der Anwendungsdomäne werden von Energieexperten Texte in einem Wiki verfasst und bilden die Grundlage zum Aufbau der Energieforschungs-Ontologie.
