Zur Zeit findet am CERN in Genf wohl eins der größten wissenschaftlichen Experimente der Menschheit statt - der LHC. Aber was wird an diesem Teilchenbeschleuniger eigentlich gemacht? Warum fasziniert die Suche nach dem Higgs eine ganze Physikergeneration? Wieso ist der LHC nicht nur einphysikalisches, sondern auch ein soziologisches Experiment? Und was hat schlussendlich die Suche nach neuen Teilchen mit Python und der Suche nach Bugs zu tun? Diese Keynote wird versuchen, diese und andere Fragen zu beleuchten.
