Using technology to engage and motivate learners in the 21st Century is not a new concept. However, technologies are now more accessible for students with disabilities and are enabling greater opportunities for students to participate in similar activities to their peers including robotics, animation, podcast and using mainstream devices such as iPads with little or no modi cations. I would value the opportunity to share with you what is possible if you think outside the box or even get rid of the box altogether! I aim to show you how to engage learners with special needs using digital technologies and provide you with strategies and resources that you can take back to your classroom or school.
