The family of Nodebox (http://nodebox.net/) tools supports creation of artistic visualization using either Python or a visual programming interface. The Python API is quite similar to Processing's but is (in my opinion) even easier to learn, because of Python's friendliness. In this talk, I'll illustrate creation of basic and more advanced visuals in Nodebox OpenGL, using data from an exploratory text analysis project.
