Das Theming von komplexen Content Management Systemen ist häufige eine sehr arbeitsintensive Angelegenheit - Plone ist dabei keine Ausnahme. Dank Diazo ist kein Plone-Experten-Wissen mehr notwendig, um beliebige Designs in Plone umzusetzen. Der Vortrag stellt an einem Beispiel aus der Praxis den Einsatz von Diazo vor. Dank Diazo und plone.app.theming kann ein Designtemplate (aus html und css komplett unabhängig vom CMS gehalten werden. Ein einfaches Regelwerk verknüpft das Designtemplate mit dem CMS. Ein Theme kann als Zip-Datei verpackt, direkt in Plone importiert und aktiviert werden ohne das System neu starten zu müssen. Der Vortrag weist an Beispielen den Weg vom statischen Template zum dynamischem Plone-Theme. Schwerpunkt ist hierbei die Erzeugung der Regeln mit denen die Elemente des statischen Templates mit den Inhalten aus dem CMS verbunden werden.
