Django class based generic views können zu einer strukturell einheitlichen View-Programmierung beitragen, was Programm-Entwicklungen erleichtern und mögliche Fehler verringern kann. Der Talk gibt eine Einführung in Struktur und Funktionsweise dieses Subframeworks. Mit den class based generic views bietet Django ein umfangreiches Subframework zum erstellen von class based views. Die Dokumentation ist recht rudimentär und erlaubt nur einen groben Überblick, erst die Studie des Quellcodes offenbart ein tieferes Verständnis der Klassenhierarchie und Funktionsweise. Ziel dieses Talks ist es, durch Vermitteln der Funktionsweise eine Einarbeitung zu erleichtern.
