.NET Core ist die neue Version von Microsofts .NET – Open Source und verfügbar unter Windows, OS-X und Linux. Mit ASP.NET Core gibt es Web Technologien zur Entwicklung von Web Applikationen und Services. Neben Microsoft Tools setzt Microsoft auch auf die Integration von bower, NPM, und Gulp. Dependency Injection ist bereits in .NET integriert und erlaubt es die Applikation mit möglichst wenig Overhead zu betreiben. In dieser Session wird gezeigt was ASP.NET Core 1.0 und .NET Core 1.0 auszeichnet, wie auch die dotnet tool und NuGet eingesetzt werden können, und damit schließlich .NET Web Applikationen unter Linux laufen.
